INLS Call for Poems:
Nepali Poetry Festival/Contest at NASeA/ANMA Joint Convention in Atlanta

International Nepali Literary Society (INLS: http://www.inls.org ) is highly pleased to announce the following Literary / Poetry event to be conducted on the occasion of 2007 NASeA/ANMA Joint Annual Convention (during Labor Day Weekend: http://convention.naseaonline.org/program.php http://www.naseaonline.org/) in Atlanta, Georgia. INLS Atlanta Joint Annual Convention Poetry Festival Committee invites poets to submit their poems within Aug 30, 2007 for poetry competition and Biswa Raj Acharya Poetry Award.

Nepali Poetry Festival/Contest at NASeA/ANMA Joint Convention

When: September 1, Saturday from 4.00PM to 6.30PM

 About the contest:
In order to participate in the Open Poetry Competition:
• The poem must be in Nepali language, original, unpublished.
• Poets must be present in person (If the poet is not present, his/her poem will not be included in the contest. If time is available, the poems of the absentees can be recited as noncompetitive. Poems in English can be read out as noncompetitive.
• It can be in any subject and style but not exceeding two typed or hand-written pages.
• Please indicate whether your poem is competitive or non-competitive.

Prizes for INLS Biswa Raj Acharya Poetry Competition:
Cash Prize, as follows with Certificate:
First $100.00 Second $60.00 Third $50.00 Fourth $40.00

Entry submission deadline will be extended in case of insufficient entries. Please submit your poem, full name, address (mailing and email), phone number to following via email or fax as soon as possible to the chairman of the committee shown below
